About the National Cancer Screening Register Contact Centre
The Contact Centre is the first point of contact for your enquiries regarding the National Cancer Screening Register.
The Contact Centre team is not medically trained to provide answers to specific medical questions or clinical decisions relating to cervical or bowel screening. Please refer to a healthcare provider to:
- answer questions of a clinical nature
- give guidance on decisions about screening, treatment and treatment methods
- provide more information on cervical cancer or bowel cancer and diagnostic procedures.
The Contact Centre team may refer you to the Department of Health if your enquiry is specific to the operation of the National Cervical Screening Program or the National Bowel Cancer Screening Program.

The Contact Centre operates Monday to Friday, between 8am and 6pm in all Australian state and territory time zones.
