MMEx is now integrated with the National Cancer Screening Register to support cancer screening

Integrating with the National Cancer Screening Register (NCSR) provides easier access for healthcare providers using the MMEx platform to support their patient’s participation in the National Bowel Cancer Screening Program, National Cervical Screening Program and National Lung Cancer Screening Program.
MMEx users can now access, view and submit patient screening data for all three cancer screening programs directly in the clinical software they use everyday.
"We’re thrilled to integrate with the NCSR. This collaboration strengthens our commitment to empower healthcare providers with a clinical system that supports the delivery of integrated, high-quality care, helping to make cancer screening information more accessible for healthcare providers."
"MMEx is widely used in the Indigenous healthcare space and we hope this small but significant enhancement to our software will assist in Closing the Gap," said Jenny Brabender, General Manager, ISA Healthcare Solutions.
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples participate in cancer screening at a lower rate than non-Indigenous Australians. Early detection saves lives and timely access to screening information is key for enabling healthcare providers to have meaningful conversations about the life-saving potential of early detection and to address any concerns about the screening process.
Doctors and healthcare workers at Aboriginal Healthcare Services play a vital role in encouraging Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to participate in cancer screening programs.
“The integration of the NCSR with MMEx marks another positive step in strengthening digital connectivity across primary care."
"By accessing cancer screening information directly through their clinical software, healthcare providers can better support patients to take part in these life-saving programs, improving timely detection and care,” said Prof. Dorota Gertig, NCSR Medical Director.
MMEx is a web-based e-Health platform designed by clinicians for clinicians. It includes everything needed to run a healthcare service and can be configured to support practice workflows, patient management and data needs.
